Plastic surgeons reveal which Met Gala celebs they think may be using Ozempic
Kim Kardashian's ultra-thin waist may have stolen the headlines when it came to dramatic body changes at last night's Met Gala.
But a top cosmetic surgeon has told DailyMail.com that a number of other celebrities also appeared thinner and more gaunt than usual.
Social media users began branding the Gala the 'Ozempic Olympics' and started to trade theories on who had used the drug as a slimming aid.
Dr Gary Motykie, a board-certified plastic surgeon in LA, has revealed the four celebrities who may have used the drug in the lead-up to the event.
Jennifer Lopez

Fans expressed concern for the 54-year-old last night, after some said she stepped out appearing 'gaunt' and 'really skinny'
Jennifer Lopez is famous as a renowned beauty with a strong jawline and prominent cheekbones.
But fans expressed concern for the 54-year-old last night, after some said she stepped out appearing 'gaunt' and 'really skinny'.
Dr Motykie said it was possible that her more 'hollow' appearance could be due to Ozempic weight loss. Although it could also be due to standard weight loss.
'I think with a lot of these celebrities they are under pressure to deliver for these big events,' he said, 'so I do think she is a little suspicious for dabbling with Ozempic'.
JLo was first hit with speculation she may be using Ozempic last month after she posted a picture online of herself in a tight-fitting white gown.
Fans commented below the post, saying, 'are you losing weight?', and, 'how did she lose weight so fast?'.
It comes after her husband Ben Affleck was also hit with speculation that he had used Botox and fillers to make himself look younger.
Sources admitted he had had Botox, saying he was 'fed up' with looking older and tired.
Lana del Rey
Lana del Rey is pictured above at the Met Gala last night and in Los Angeles in March last year. She has lost weight and now also has much less volume in her face, surgeons said
Dr Motykie also suggested she may have had 'Ozempic face', but then used fillers to try to restore some of the lost volume and appear more youthful
Pop singer and 'Queen of Sadcore' Lana del Rey has seen her weight fluctuate throughout the years.
But many fans are speculating that her recent weight loss, which happened over less than a year, may be due to Ozempic.
Dr Motykie said he was 'much more suspicious' that the star had used the weight loss drug compared to others at the Gala because her change was so rapid.
He also suggested she may have had 'Ozempic face', but then used fillers to try to restore some of the lost volume and appear more youthful.
'What often happens is people lose the weight on these drugs and then think they look gaunt,' he said. 'That's when fillers come in.'
'Overall, the results look very natural and she looks great. If you are going to dabble, she is doing it the right way.'
Some viewers also pointed to the loss of volume in her facial features as a sign she had used Ozempic.
One viewer commented, 'I don't know what version of Ozempic Lana del Rey got but GIVE IT TO ME', while a second added, 'I need Ozempic bad'.
Jessica Biel
Jessica Biel (2024, left, and in 2023, right) may have used Ozempic, surgeons suggested, pointing to her smaller waist and the prominence of bones in her neck and at her shoulders
Dr Motykie also pointed to her neck, which appeared more sunken in, which can suggest weight loss
Actress Jessica Biel says she bathed in 20lbs of Epsom salts in order to lose enough water weight to slip into her Met Gala dress.
But plastic surgeons have suggested she may have also got a helping hand from Ozempic — in order to gain the slimmer figure.
They pointed to her smaller waist as potential evidence that she had lost weight, comparing it to her last appearance at the Gala in 2013.
But surgeons said she has also always been 'pretty thin' and in 'good shape', with Dr Motykie saying the toning on her arms suggests she works out.
'Soaking in Epsom Salts would draw some water weight off you, but it is not going to shrink you into a dress,' he said, 'because you will just put the water weight back on'.
'So that does make me a bit suspicious [of Ozempic use], but I am also on the fence — she has always been pretty thin and in pretty good shape.'
It was also suggested that she had used filler to put more volume into her face and make herself appear younger.
Dr Motykie also pointed to her neck, which appeared more sunken in, which can suggest weight loss.
Epsom Salts can help someone reduce their waistline slightly by helping to draw moisture from the body.
But many doctors advise against using them for this purpose, saying they can cause dehydration — which can lead to multiple complications.
Kim Kardashian

The 43-year-old star's waist appeared to have shrunk again at last night's Met Gala after she emerged wearing an even slimmer dress.
Viewing her pictures, Dr Motykie immediately said: 'Waist by Ozempic!'
'Her waistline looks thinner than we've seen before,' he told DailyMail.com.
'Semaglutide like Ozempic can be an easy way to lose weight for a specific event, like the Met Gala.'
It is not the first time Kim has faced Ozempic allegations over the Met Gala, after she was also accused of using the drug in 2022 to slip into Marilyn Monroe's dress.
To fit into the garment, Kim revealed she lost 16lbs within three weeks.
She claimed this was achieved by avoiding carbs and just eating vegetables and proteins, as well as running on a treadmill and wore a sauna suit twice a day.
